| STUD BLOCK
The Stud Block System is used to build walls for residential and commercial structures. Each stud block has two feet that are used when attaching sheet rock on the interior.
Stud Blocks are specifically designed to offer more structural reinforcement than conventional block. Additionally, they are designed to accept nails or screws to support direct attachment of wood, sheet rock, brick or paneling to its surface.
Stud Block is designed to eliminate the need for additional furring; however, mortar is required between each block.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
| |
Consistent and Economical Pricing - Unlike prices for wood, stud block pricing remains stable and predictable and more cost-effective than wood. |
| |
More Durable than Wood - Concrete block is four times heavier and denser than a comparable wood framed wall and becomes stronger over time vs. wood. Its greater strength allows it to resist damage from salt air, rain, snow, and hurricane force winds as well as insect damage. |
| |
Energy Savings - Block's thermal mass contributes to reduced heating and cooling costs. |
| |
Effective Sound Barrier - Block acts as a great sound barrier to external noises. |
| |
Fire Resistant - Block resists the passage off flames, smoke and heat. |
| |
Water Resistant - Sealed block repels water. |
